With IBM & Aston Martin Red Bull Racing we had an opportunity to bring to life the impact that data has on the rapid iteration of their cars. Debuting at IBM Think, we built an interactive touchscreen website that highlighted six ways IBM Spectrum Solutions provides intelligent data that helps the Aston Martin Red Bull Racing team make better design and race decisions. We also developed an augmented reality racing application to highlight these data points with The Weather Company.

Evolving this project since 2017 has been exceptionally rewarding as the AR application has been refined and used at IBM Think 2019 and on the track. We’ve been able to build off the initial models and architecture and produce highly interactive mixed reality experiences with Magic Leap, and even produced a 75% scale model that can display any livery or experience on it with projecting mapping.
